Prepare your reference photos
- Choose clear, evenly lit images of people who agree to appear.
- Use one image per person when the chosen video tool supports multiple references.
- Keep faces unobstructed and avoid extreme profile angles.
- Check that the tool accepts your chosen duration and aspect ratio.
How to make the video
Open your preferred reference-image video tool, add the photos and paste the prompt. Generate a short clip first. Check faces, hands, clothing and left/right positions before spending credits on a longer version. Add licensed audio in your editor if the tool does not generate suitable audio.
Fix common failures
- Face changes: use a more frontal photo and reduce head movement.
- People swap places: specify the first reference on the left and the second on the right.
- Hands distort: remove complex gestures and keep hands away from faces.
- Too much happens: use one camera move and one action for the clip.
These are editing suggestions to test, not guaranteed fixes.
